Theme: Know-how for Global Success
Know-how for Global Success. proved to be such a fitting theme for our conference in 2009 that we have decided to keep it as the overarching theme for 2010.
The theme recognizes the fact that localization is not an end in itself, but just one critical step in a company’s progression from domestic to global enterprise. We are looking for presentations that will provide expertise and experiences from the whole spectrum of that challenging, fascinating journey.
Localization World events in 2010 will be offering four distinct tracks and an attractive preconference program:
• Global Business Best Practices
• Localization Core Competencies
• Advanced Localization Management
• Managing Global Websites
• In-depth workshops and sessions on the preconference day
Within the context of the above tracks, we are especially interested in receiving proposals that focus on one of the following areas:
• Financial Services
• Life Sciences
• Convergence of Content and Translation Management
The theme and above foci are not meant to restrict the content of the conference. We encourage presenters to submit proposals that fit with the general taxonomy of the Localization World conferences.
